How
to get more narrator voice?
Most voice files are copyrighted and not free. And they are not
allowed to be distributed with our software.
If users PCs have installed other voice software, such as Windows Office,
Dragon Naturally Speaking and Natural Reader, it is very possible that the
PC has already had several good quality voices.
We recommend AT&T Natural Voice, order
different voices from
http://www.regnow.com/softsell/nph-softsell.cgi?item=3961-6&affiliate=456543.
Those natural voices are of much better quality than free ones.
And they work for both XP and Vista. All the voices in the
Examples Page use AT&T Natural Voice.
Note that, ArticleToSWF is compatible with SAPI5 voice
files only.
How
to convert the generated SWF, so video sharing sites accept it?
The generated SWF file can be put on your website directly,
however, video sharing sites may only accept other video file format, such
as avi and mpeg. In our software package, it includes a tool which can
convert SWF file to avi or mpeg files easily . Users can download
the setup file for this tool in his/her account. Please check
Manual for details.
We recommend convert the SWF to AVI video using lossless
codec . Check
Manual for details about lossless codec.
Why
it does not have sound after the conversion?
The conversion tool uses the output of the sound card to
record the sound. In some cases, the output of the sound card could be disabled
by the operating system, especially in Windows Vista system. To enable the
output:
-
Go to control panel and click sound icon.
-
Click Recording tab, then Right click on the background
of the tab, select "Show Disabled Devices".
-
Then, you should see items such as "Wave Out
Mix", "Stereo Mix", or something similar (depends on your PC's hardware).
-
Right Click on it and enable it.
-
Now, try the conversion again.
If it still does not work, please contact the support and let us
know your sound card's part number and operating system.
Why
the sound volume is lower/higher than it is in swf file after the conversion?
The conversion tool uses the output of the sound card to
record the sound. The computer's volume decides the converted file's volume.
Higher volume on the computer will generate higher volume in the converted avi
file.
Why
the sound has echo after the conversion?
Depends on computer's sound card, change the conversion
bitrate may improve the sound quality. By default, the converter uses bitrate
112kb/s. Change it to 128kb/s may get better results.
