Install Article To SWF

When users download the software, there are two setup files. One is a2swf_setup.zip and the other one is swf2video_setup.zip.

a2swf_setup.zip is for installing Article To SWF.

swf2video_setup is for installing SWF to Video converter.

Follow below instructions to install both software.

Once you download the zip file, first unzip it.

Double click the Setup Launcher, Setup.exe (the setup file name may be different, depends on the release), to start installation.
Follow the instructions on the screen to choose the options for the installation.
Once the installation is done, you will see the shortcuts for Article To SWF and SWF to Video Converter on your desktop screen.

*** Note that, Most voice files are copyrighted and not free. And they are not allowed to be distributed with our software. If users PCs have installed other voice software, such as Dragon Naturally Speaking and Natural Reader, it is very possible that the PC has already had several good quality natural voices. Existing voices on your PC will be automatically selected by Article To SWF.

We recommend AT&T Natural Voice, order different voices from http://www.regnow.com/softsell/nph-softsell.cgi?item=3961-6&affiliate=456543. Those natural voices are of much better quality than free ones. And they work for both XP and Vista. All the voices in the Examples Page use AT&T Natural Voice.

Note that, ArticleToSWF is compatible with SAPI5 voice files only.

*** Note that, for Windows Vista users, Article To SWF should be launched as an administrator:

Locate Article To SWF. By default, it should be in the folder "C:\Program Files\Article To SWF".
Right click the program icon and choose the properties option.
Select the compatibility tab, under privilege level, check the box to run this program as administrator.

*** Note that, Article To SWF can be installed on different computers, however, one account only allows one login from one computer. If an user has to use it on different computers with the same account, then the user will have to wait for some hours.

Uninstall Article To SWF

Go to "Start" menu at the lower left corner of your screen.
Go to "All Programs", and then click on "Article To SWF".
Go over to "Uninstall".
Click "Uninstall" and follow the instructions to uninstall Article To SWF.
